TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

Tiber Septim was a mortal man who performed such extraordinary feats people elevated him to the status of a god. The elves were not happy about this as they did not believe that a man could become a god. Thus one of the conditions of the peace treaty for the Great War between the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion was that Talos worship was outlawed.

The funny thing is the Empire didn’t achieve anything for rejecting the conditions the Thalmor forced upon them before the Great War. The Empire fought a war which almost brought it to it’s knees. Afterwards the Empire was forced to sign the same conditions as before the war and allowed the Thalmor to act as gestapo in the Empire to hunt down Talos worshipers.

The Thalmor are even more obnoxious than the asshole Dunmer were in Morrowind. Fuckin’ elves, man. I’m glad the Stormcloaks and I are going to drive them out of the Nordland some day.

Right, and I suppose getting blessings from the altars of Talos is just trickery.

Man, the Empire is composed of such spineless pricks. Fuck them, I’m joining the Stormcloaks.

I may be Imperial, but this is not the great Empire that once ruled Cyrodil. This is an Empire of cowards and weaklings who are just puppets for the Elves. And they shall meet the fate of all weaklings. The Nords shall be my instrument, their reclamation of their homeland will be a minor byproduct.

You know the Empire is the only thing standing between Skyrim and the Aldmeri Dominion? If Skyrim separates itself from the Empire than the Dominion can easily steamroll both and thus dooming mankind…

You’re a disgrace to the Nords. After we kick the empire’s ass, the Thalmor are next.

Because my character is a Nord Stormcloak, and that’s what he’d say.

The Empire is already a puppet regime controlled by the Thalum.

As soon as I run our of caves to explore, I’m crushing the rebels. You know what happened last time disorganized humans met organized, power hungry Elves? Alyeid rule.

Unless you want to be feeding overweight elves grapes in the nude, join the Imperials.

As far as I’m aware, every other province is still sided with the Empire. Just because the Thalmor kicked Cyrodiil’s ass doesn’t mean that there arn’t still seven provinces not interested in being High elf slaves. Instead of taking itself out of the gene pool, Skyrim should be working in tandem with the rest of Tamriel to put the high elves down for good.

Well, Elsewyre and Black Marsh ceded from the Empire a long time ago and have no care for other people’s problems. Morrowind is still a wasteland from the volcano eruption in Vvardenfell and Hammerfell was kicked out of the Empire because they didn’t agree with the demands of the Dominion. So it’s just basically High Rock, Skyrim and Cyrodiil. Also the Dominion is only out to destroy mankind and not the other races. That’s why it’s vital for Skyrim to stay in the Empire.

I could be happily sitting in a tree playing a flute right now if Beth didn’t make all the elves so damn ugly.

I think they are pretty good. Better than Oblivion’s high elves…

I think they are pretty awful, probably because I’ve played Wood elves and Dark elves in every other TES game to date.

High elves seem fine to me, funnily enough.

EDIT THOSE FAGGING DEATHLORDS AND THEIR GLITCHY ONE HIT KILL ARROWSDASFASAGDASG :rage:

also, level 38 = draugr scourge apocalypse fml

Do you guys know how to tell which caves and dungeons are related to quests and which aren’t?

I got, like, this phobia of doing things before I should =/

Basically if you pick up heavy shit and can’t set it back down, CONGRATS you’ve found a quest that may or may not be bugged now. I actually /` deleted one of the ones I picked up because it was 2 weight, undroppable and part of a questline I have no intentions of doing for a very long time.

I’ll /` Spawn one in my inventory if I ever decide to do that quest. The weighted quest items are a massive pain in the ass. Otherwise though, any big quest dungeons are blocked off in one way or the other, so you should be pretty safe entering whatever dungeon you please. Just save lots and don’t pick up anything interesting.

I use to have sort of that phobia, but they seem to understand in this game that you are allowed to enter these dungeons before the quest pops up, so they have specific dialogue in these cases.

I guess I’ll hop on the bandwagon.

This is my main character. Level 39

And Here is my God/Cheat character. Level 81

Hahaha Damn.

dat shield :fffuuu:

Unfortunetly, since the sneak patch they did last night. i can’t play the game for more than 3 minutes without it crashing. i had patched the EXE to use 4Gb instead of the capped 2Gb, but now the game won’t start unless it has the vanilla EXE (part of DRM). It sucks that i can’t play a game i payed $60 dollars for, not to mention i bought the collectors edition guide too. I’m pretty pissed at Bethesda right now, who is even running a 32bit OS in 2011 anyways?

…oh yeah, Xbox, their prime focus.

Hiya Deutscher, don’t see you around much anymore.
