TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

Yeah, i figured that kind of mod would pop up pretty soon.
The map screen is really just the LOD model for the game world. i figured pretty soon after starting the game that somebody would figure out a way to remove the zoom distance cap. i didn’t expect, however, that one could zoom so far in that local models would load. LOL

EDiT : Unfortunately that means a political map replacer is out of the quest unless they add it to the game as a book or scroll you can hot-key. …which doesn’t sound too bad. i’m gonna get right on that!

Mine:

They might be able to mod it in to function like how the interior map loads in.

Hey guiz, check out dis awesome snowy day I encountered

Oops, wrong game

Seriously, though - has anyone done any of skyrims randomly generated quests? Several of them are exactly like daggerfall’s simpler quests - One of them even has you go to kill a bear in someone’s house, and the door is locked but if you are seen breaking in you get arrested - exactly like those random quests you got in daggerfall

I love nights in this game.

I’m not sure what constitutes as random, but I was reading a lot of books in-game and was given quests for a few of them.

I also overheard some bandits speaking and was given a quest about that, as well.

Christ, they must have completely nerfed the graphics to get Skyrim to work on consoles. My game looks NOTHING like that.

Since people are showing off their characters, this is me with a chicken.

Wish they could be pets :frowning:

Is that a woman? :o

no wai

That’s a chicken

Girl Power!

Definition of console :stuck_out_tongue: .

Something funny I found last night, if you walk around town with no clothes on, you will get reactions such as, “Would ya put on some damn clothes already!?”

I love the detail and massive amount of reaction dialogue.

They also have lines of dialogue for if you drop an inventory item on the ground or make a mess.

This can lead to some funny reactions upon your death, though, as NPCs seem to have a hard time distinguishing between your body and inventory items, leading to lines such as “I am not accustomed to people throwing their trash on the ground” when you expire.

“Oh, you dropped this. Do you want it back or can I keep it?”

Did you know that was in morrowind too?

They had that in Morrowind, more of a fuck up that it wasn’t in Oblivion than it is cool that its in Skyrim.

Edit: :ninja:

While wandering through the market stands in Whiterun, i must have bumped into something because a bunch of items fell off of the counter. The merchant yelled, “Be CAREFUL, please!”. So i picked up all the items i knocked over and set them all neatly back on the counter. Not expecting a reply, i decided to leave the area and heard from behind me something along the lines of, “Much better. Please come again and be more careful next time!”.

i’m SURE it wasn’t a scripted response. How in Hell would they script that kind of dialogue? but i’ll be damned if it didn’t fit perfectly. Several times now i’ve bumped into items in a store and got scolded for making a mess. ironically, nobody makes a peep if i trash and totally fuck up their house.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to remarry? Or marry more than once?

I might have missed something, but what reason does the Empire have for declaring Talos/Tiber Septum as just a man?
