TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

Hazz, Oblivion is still their biggest game landscapewise since daggerfall.

I am super excited that it’s going to be as big as oblivion. I was afraid we were going to get a fallout 3 sized map.

Funny thing about that video… I was there. :3
You can actually hear me yell “USE TWO SHIELDS!” at 28:00.

Thanks for contributing to such an obnoxious crowd.

hahaha you lucky bastard. I laughed at the WATER. WATER. WATER, cause I was thinking the same thing.

Maxey, you are a regular on Black mesa community forums, you can’t say anything about obnoxious crowds.

I found the crowd funny as fuck. Its nice to see a game dev who is clearly taking themselves really seriously get knocked down a peg and reminded that its a GAME. Have some fun with it. If you just repeat the same monotone statements and walk the same path in a big open fun game how is that showing it off really well?

Only thing that bugged me was when the crowd yelled t-bag it all the time.

Someone yelled “Rape her!” when he approached a woman NPC. I understand the crowd being excited for this game but if we want gamers to be seen as normal, balanced people then this is not helping our cause.

The crowd was almost entirely composed by loud idiots from what I heard. Theres not taking it seriously, and then theres this.

I just got me that all the media we got was all from the demo. All the screenshots in december, the trailer, and the same demo being posted over and over again are taken from the same areas. Landscape before Riverwood, Riverwood, outside the temple, the temple and Whiterun. Pretty clever actually as this way they didn’t how to make things but recycle the old media again and again.

Nice way to not spoil the rest of the game.

Couldn’t find any smaller versions?

Another comparison:

Yeah …

Only problem is most of the really really large maps are boring as hell. If your going to count the area of daggerfall’s map you might as well count the space between planets in games with space travel. Because nobody actually manually walked anywhere in that game.

Also yeah the crowd did take it to extremes. Also I just don’t think the crowd had respect for Todd because when John Carmack talked about stuff they where dead silent from the video I watch (maybe it was impressive sound edit). I don’t imagine a lot of the people who visit quakecon are big into rpgs.

All I can say was that the energy in that room was so contagious that everyone was yelling at everything. That’s just how quakecon rolls. the pray 2 was even worse you shouldn’t heard it, but the guy was actually doing what we’re telling him to do

Has this been out yet ?

Pretty cool & badass looking dumner :

Oh god he looks derpy as hell.

I don’t know, when you consider how the race looks in general… I tried to play a dunmer a few times but didn’t get very far because I just couldn’t stand the look of them. If I’m going to spend that many hours with a character I shouldn’t have to cringe every time I click tab.

Wow!D:

I like how they ask for a thief. And they give a crazy nut swinging swords. Just goes to show how action orientated TES is.

Anyways the picture is nice and its cool that they showed off a little bit of a city we haven’t seen yet.
