TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

I’d rather they put the time in something else. Meh.

Just watched the game trailers episode with a Todd Howard interview. Almost useless except they confirmed a fire breath dragon shout.

Also I guess if for some strange reason you thought you’d play as a dragon then they just denied that.

OMG GUYS NEW GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE!
5 seconds of it

Edit:This was worth a double post.

Brraaah, cock tease. E3 shall be good tho.

I’m hoping all the races will be shown and anything that is from the pc version of the game.

All old footage :frowning:

OH MAN THAT SNOW AND HAND ON A FUZZY SCREEN WAS AMAZING BRO

i hope that they really use dx 11 consequently on the PC version. but i have confidence in bethsoft because they’re not crytek who make big promises and do nothing.

I wouldn’t expect the PC version to look much better than the console version, other than the higher res, AA and AF settings increasing the image quality, and even if they implement DX11, it’s probably just the basic renderer to provide people with DX11 cards a smoother experience.

It’s never good marketing to make a certain version of a multiplat game stand out a lot more than the other versions.

It is going to have DX 11 support they have confirmed that, but in the same sentence they said they didn’t know how much it will use of it. I hope Nvidia pays them to make it look great so they can slap runs best on nvidia on it.

Also the PC version will always stand out because of mods so I can’t imagine something like tessellation or better lighting would alienate too many fans.

Edit: Also some stuff that actually isn’t a joke.

According to this there is at least a minor form of spell combining.

BADASS

No. Using two shields is going to be badass.

This.

Confusion sweeps across my enemy’s face as I equip two shields in each one of my hairy manly vascular arms before him.

Simotaneous Right click/left click

My enemy’s head explodes into a cloud of blood and derp as I slam the two shields together around his shattered skull right after staring into his confused, fear-stricken eyes.

[/Ridiculous]

I’d rather just club someone to death with a big ol’ weighty hammer.
…Or arrow to the face at punching distance. That was always my favorite. :awesome:

Game Trailers actually had more interview.

Edit: It was o.k. nothing new to my knowledge.

The interviewer is such an idiot.

He actually managed to get some info that no one else has. He knows what he is doing trying to get info he just comes off annoying.

What info?

You can breathe fire via Dragon Shout
Dragons “know how to use the landscape, they can do bombing runs, they can land, they can walk around, they can perch on buildings, they can pick guys up”.
There are different types of Dragons with different shouts.
Dragons appear early then “ramp up” as the game goes on.
There’s about “two dozen” Dragon Shouts in all.
Bethesda is not working on Dragonlings.
Fallout 3’s lead designer Emil Pagliarulo voiced the Dragon Shout in the trailer.
Horses are looking good. They don’t want to promise they’ll be in though.
Snow can dynamically fall and clump onto objects such as “rocks, and chairs, and trees” in different orientations.
The team is not looking past Skyrim.
We’ll see more shouts, dragons, and factions at E3.

Not a lot but a hell of a lot better than all the other interviews from this event. And for the record he tried to get info on werewolfs and vampires but Todd dodged the question.

Rot is going to orgasm over that dynamic snow.

It’s nice to hear it will fall on other objects I thought it might have been limited to landscape.
