Old school or new school?
Personally, I’ll take a unique art style, near perfect class balance, and not getting fragged every two seconds over whatever TFC has to offer any day.
Thoughts?
Perfect balance? Pfffffffffffffft pyro is the most broken class in history (although he was like that in tfc too). But yeah, I take Team Fortress, but it does need some twqeaking regarding heavy.
I’ll be honest; I haven’t played either game enough to form my honest opinion of either, but its clearly apparent that they are two very different games.
They do share similar classes and gameplay style, but they have enough differences between each other to make each game appealing to different people. I’ve seen avid supporters of the first TF as well as an equal amount of supporters for the cartoon version.

Tf2 its just so goddamn funny and is not meant to be taken seriously. Valve made a good decision switching to this type of game. Games are made to be fun, not graphically astounding or complex. Just good ol’ fun.
And Tiki can suck my balls if he comes in here. I don’t give one shit.
Engineer is exactly the most balanced either, same goes for Heavy. 1/3rd of them aren’t perfectly balanced. Good thing it isn’t meant to be taken seriously though. But it has little real balance.
EDIT: Don’t forget sniper isn’t the most loveable class too.
I prefer TF2 over TFC. Maybe it’s cause I love the type of graphics?

imo, you can’t beat the classics, which I know is really contradicting myself, wanting BMS to come out, but that’s because it’s BM >.> I know that TFC isn’t the BEST game, but it actually provided entertainment, enough for me to play it to this very day. I like TF2 also, and occasionally play it, but TFC is more like it for me. GoldSrc ftw!
