wow… what the heck did you download that got you to this point? (said the girl that deleted her c:\ntldr file and had a serious problem for 3 days)
Probably lots and lots of porn through Limewire.
thaaaat would do it.
Actually it happened after i created a new User account and Re-installed my retail version of half life but this has never happened up until now…
yes, download the CD version, it should be 700mb
Again, you need a program capable of burning an ISO, simply copying the file to the CD will not make it bootable.
Okay,I’ll try that. Thanks.
oh oh oh! I know this part!
Download “ISO Recorder” from here https://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm (Windows 2000 users use Active ISO Burner IsoBurner-Setup.exe) and install it. Once it’s installed, right click the fixntldr.iso file and choose to “Copy image to CD” or “Burn ISO file” and let it burn.
Windows 7 has that built in.
Also, imgburn works well too.
Okay, THat didn’t work either… I think I might have to buy a new computer…Damn…
If you can’t afford to loose the money buying a new computer, just buy a copy of Windows(or if you can find the license, download the disc image).
To back up all of your files if you don’t want to loose any, use a Linux Live CD(Ubuntu, Fedora) to transfer your files somewhere safe while you re-install Windows.
Alright, I broke down and bought a new one cuz’ nothin’ was workin. It eventually crashed and completley failed, I couldn’t even turn it on anymore… I’m Still wonderin WTF happened to it.
Thanks for allthe help anyway though.
:plays funeral music:
