As most of you all know, I have a Vista computer. Just recently, I bought the Penumbra collection, which may or may not have caused my current issue.
My taskbar will not hide at all. It just stays there. It’s not much of an issue, but it’s kind of annoying. Auto-hide is activated. In fact, the only way to hide the bastard is to activate auto-hide and it will disappear. When I next use it, however, it’s stuck in the up position. Any ideas?
reinstall . everything , or google it
Google says cleaning your prefetch folder will apparently fix it.
Worth a try.

Well, just as I was typing this, the taskbar randomly hid. Everything’s in working order now.
