Subtitles proplem.

Hello everyone.

Proplem is sub. I want turkish sub but ı tried everything sub doesn’t work.

1-Problem when changing Steam language [steam version] I tried but vpk.exe doesn’t work for bms_msc.dir. (still same)
2 - I used Sourcemultitool for VPK creator (but using for half life 2) giving error "Unable to load manifest file 'scripts/soundscapes_manifest.txt "

I spent my day… No one does not solve the problem.

You waited literally less than 10 minutes for someone to respond. Patience, man.

I don’t have anything from an official source, but from what I’ve heard, the Steam version of BM is locked in English until other translations are completed for it, or something to that effect. SOmeone more knowledgable may want to correct me there.

Thank you so much for your reply. Subtitle files in my hand, I just need to know how to do it. I can’t install the patch to the game that I paid, just angry…

For Content Update 2, the way the subtitles and in game voice lines work has been completely restructured and rewritten. Even if your old files worked, they would shortly become redundant anyway. The new format has many large advantages and is much easier to work with. I would suggest waiting until Content Update 2 is deployed in December, before you start thinking about making your own translations/using translations for other languages. We’ve basically told the translations teams to wait, for this reason.

So how can I solve the problem? Can you help?

The solution is to wait until the updated caption files are deployed in the December update, and then work from there. If you still have problems at that point, we can try and find a way to help.

Now I tried again,now everything is fine! but it doesn’t show the subtitles. How do I open? (options :s ubtitles open)

I am proud of you for the job you do.

Just wait for the update.

december 10 ? 20 ?

Just December. You’ll have a specific date when it’s ready, but for now, December.

Okay =) thanks again.
