Stronghold 3!

Hey guys guess what game is currently in production? You guessed it Stronghold 3 do you guys think it will be worth the wait or will it just be a major letdown like last time? All I know is I’m not getting my hopes up, Stronghold Crusader was the last good Stronghold game for me :meh: Who knows though this game could be the game to reboot the series.

They knew that Stronghold 2 sucked so gamplay is going to be similar to 1 except better I hope oh and I hope there will be more variation in landscap instead of ONLY desert in crusader and only forest in the original one.

Wait, lets see. There has been 2 good games, Stronghold and Stronghold: Crusader but because of 1 failure Stronghold 2 you feel the series needs a reboot?

Edit: Oh wait I checked wikipedia and there where two side things, that I never paid attention to.

I’m a massive fan of Stronghold since the first one came out. Crusader had always being my favorite, and Crusader: Extreme just made it even more fun. Stronghold 2, IMO, wasn’t all that bad. Sure, it was a massive slap in the face after how awesome the previous ones were, but still, it was decent.

I really hope this one will turn out good.

What’s with the flying cow?

In the first two games you could use catapults to launch cows instead of stones to bring disease to the enemy.

On Wikipedia they also said they might make smaller animals launchble as well.
SURPLUS_NiNjA you have to agree that Stronghold 2 was pretty boring.

Oh nice! XD, I think I played the first one a little bit, but never got that far

It is a pretty hard game don’t feel bad.

Well, if you got your economy running nice and fast you could easily make a lot of soldiers.

I remember when I first started playing the original Stronghold in 2006 I always got stuck on the mission where you had to kill The Pig.

It was decent. But that’s the point I was trying to make, I am just saying that I don’t think Stronghold deserves the reputation of a good game that just got so fucked up that you can’t even trust the 3rd. I look forward to the next game and am confident that it will be a pretty good game, even if it turns out not to be worth full retail price.
