I have the right size, and it’s a jpg., but Steam keeps saying it isn’t a jpg so it won’t take it. Help?
use png or some other format.

it might not like your file if it’s a .jpeg as opposed to a .jpg I think I’ve run across that particular problem elsewhere. Areyou trying to upload your picture from your PC, or from a site on the internet?
Steam doesn’t like resizing pictures - make sure it’s small enough. Also make sure the filesize is small.

Mine wasnt small and it let me put it up.
Open your .jpg in paint, photoshop or some similar image editing software. Copy & Paste the image into a new window of paint/photoshop and save it as a separate file type (like .bmp or .png) Then open that new file in your same image editor and save it again as a .jpg. That’s the only remedy I can think of, a very annoying and tedious procedure, but it should work.
That didn’t work either. It’s okay though, I’ll just find another avatar I guess. 
Post it here, we’ll see if there’s anything we can do.
