Right, Steam has been crashing a lot recently, So I reinstalled it. But now It just says in the Updating Steam window, Cannot Contact the Steam Network. Try again later.
Any suggestions?

What is your firewall? Do you have any torrent applications (such as Utorrent) running in the background?
What is your operating system?
I just use the default Windows Firewall.
No torrent applications running.
Windows Vista Ultimate.
I don’t understand the problem as everything was the same earlier.

Sometimes its just your internet connection.
I could go on the interwebzs, but Steam couldnt for some reason.
Never seen that before. Normally it gives you a ‘start in offline mode or retry connection’ box when it cannot connect.
It’s working now…
I just reinstalled it again.
Jeez. I never want to experience that again.
