I just bought that, too. Time for nostalgia.
XCOM: Enemy Within was on for $15 in the daily deals, so I snapped that up.
I got aoe, 2 and 3 (played boot leg a lot so might as well buy them) and fallen enchantress: forgotten hero’s… there needs to be more turn based and rts games.
Any one know any good rts games taht are less then 5 dollars now (of the 50 I put in thats all thats left got some good games though)
Maybe I will rebuy Quake 4, since my PC won’t let me install my disk version for some unknown reason (it gave a reason, I just didn’t understand it enough to remember it).
Is Quake 4 any good?
Not particularly. Probably why I haven’t made it passed the thought of rebuying it yet, even though it is only $9.99.
Is dragon age origins worth five bucks? I already have one hell of a backlog
I’m really thinking about Assassin’s Creed I and II, considering how I like Black Flag.
Is it good for 10EUR? (Bloody Europe…)
Yes, but your not going to get the wide open seafaring you had in blackflag. If you enjoy roaming around cities and assassinating people more often then its good. Like I said though no wide open seafaring.
there is wide open horse riding tho, and pretty solid triple screen support(with some tweaks)
AC1 can be a bit repetitive, holds up pretty well technically/graphically.
AC2 offers bit more variety (and colour) than the first game, but suffers from some porting issues that the first one didn’t have (62fps cap, mouse acceleration).
i bought cs go for som reason
GOSH. Mouse acceleration in AC2? Don’t remind me of it. It was SUCH a piss off in ArmA 2 that I practically had early christmas when they removed it in the third!
However, 62FPS cap? I can’t remember the last time I even HAD that many.
Mmm
Thankfully the game doesn’t demand precise camera control (unlike a shooter), so it’s only moderately annoying instead of rage-inducing.
I think I read somewhere that Brotherhood, Revelations and III also have the framerate cap and mouse acceleration - can anyone confirm? (here’s hoping they’re not in Black Flag as well)
Just bought the complete Tomb Raider collection, all three Max Payne games, Borderlands 1 and 2, The Witcher 1 and 2, Cthulhu Saves The World, Breath of Death VII, Organ Trail and Guns of Icarus. And I’m a jobless student, so this is pretty amazing.
“Jobless student” sounds like there’s more people like me…
Happy time raiding tombs… I’m sure there are… spectacular… sights included.
How good are the Witcher games? They are currently on sale at Steam for $2.49 and $4.99 at Steam.
I haven’t played the second yet, but the first game is pretty good.
Guess who just got a $100 check from my grandparents?
I’m not even sure what to buy now.
Hookers and blow.
