Does anyone know if this is a good pc port that is worth it? Or is it a pass? Any game killing bugs?
Bethesda games are all discounted right now, and they’ll certainly be one of the daily deals (except for Skyrim). They always are. You’ll probably be able to grab New Vegas or whatever for about $5.
People say that the DirectX11 version is really buggy and that it still has GFWL DRM.
I’m probably going to pick up Mount and Blade Warband.
If you haven’t played a M&B game before I’ll tell you that you won’t regret getting warband. M&B is :awesome:
It’s an excellent PC game with an already fixed DX11 mode (for 64bit windows at least) and GFWL will only cause you problems if you have no idea what you’re doing, otherwise it’s almost invisible and harmless.
DX11 got fixed weeks ago, and chances are that most people probably can’t run it maxed with DX11 on anyway, so it won’t matter.
And like Maxey said, GFWL is only a bad thing if you’re a god damn retard and don’t know what you’re doing.

Well, I splurged and got Arkham City. Now I’ve got my fingers crossed for Crysis in the coming days. I know that it’s not considered a great game, but I’m itching for something with really next-gen graphics to try out on my PC, as I’ve owned it for half a year now and still haven’t pushed it particularly hard.
Besides, Crysis looks fun in a dick-around-in-an-open-sandbox sort of way.
It was much more fun than I expected from what people were saying about it. That is until you start fighting the aliens. Then it’s just a pain in the ass. You can just load the island up in the level editor though and go around killing Koreans

Edit: I just found out that Spiral Knights is free to play so there’s another free achievement.
