Steam Holiday Extravaganza

I’ve also now got: 50% of Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath and Wings of Prey- neither of which I’m interested in.

Haha… sorry man… Nevermind… I was able to purchase portal 2 after trying again after 2 hours

Hello guys, i have gotten l4d2 gift and i would like to change it for Portal 2, if someone has it. Thanks a lot. P.S. Steam profile palisos007.

I got a lousy -25% coupon for Valve games, and that was it :frowning:

Holy shit… Arkham City’s on sale today. Color my scrotum surprised. Still a bit too pricey for me, though, I think.

Did you play the first one? If yes, the second one is supposed to be even better. It may be a bit short I think. 8-10 hours of gameplay, if you play it straight til the end.

I’ve got a -50% coupon. A friend of me won the new Monkey Island episodes. Lucky guy.

Aw, the Poker game is on sale… I would get it for the TF2 items, but alas, no credit card :frowning:

Anyone want a 50% off coupon for Portal 2?

Ive got a 50% off valve, 50% Greed Corp and 50% AI war: Fleet Command all of which are up for trading if anyone is interested. one thing I wish valve would add to steam is an option to see who all has a specific game in their wishlist… that would come in handy about now

Isn’t that possible already when you visit a game page?

^There’s a Steam Trading forum on the Steampowered User Forums where you can try to set up a trade. That’s what I did; traded my copy of Day of Defeat Source for a Eufloria key. And @DiePoente, yeah, I played the first one and loved it (fairly recently, actually). It’s just that I don’t typically buy games unless I can get them for under $10.

https://steamcommunity.com/id/maxey/wishlist

It has a link on their community page for anyone to see. IIRC you need to either have an email to send a game to, or be friends with the person.
(I only used Maxey because it was handy, and he has a sexy way of saying Mesa)

Now I wouldn’t mind if people bought me the games on my wishlist :stuck_out_tongue:

Stalker: Clear Sky is a pass, right? That’s what I’ve been hearing about it.

I’ve heard, the bugs killed the game.

Alright, so I have a very general question: which of the dozens of Star Wars games that have come out are actually any good? I know Knights of the Old Republic is meant to be really good - and I saw the name BioWare on it and was sold - but I recall that a lot of them have been hit-and-miss, and I’m not sure which they are.

updated my list on page 2, It now have Frozen Synapse and another chunk of coal.

The ones I’ve heard praised are KOTOR, Republic Commando, the Battlefront games, and I think one of the Jedi Knights games.

I’m clocked in at 22 hours for the story and doing about 50% of the riddles (there’s 440 this time around) and most of the sidequests. It’s a lot better than Asylum, in my opinion, which is incredible considering Asylum is (or was, maybe) in my Top 5 games of all time. It’s definitely worth $25, I’d say it’s worth full price in my opinion, especially now that pretty much all of the main big bugs for the PC are ironed out.

Do people still play Battlefield 2? I’m thinking about getting it.

Edit: Maybe, I don’t know. They don’t have 2142 on Steam either. Probably not.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
