Star Wars Battlefront 3 Speculations

Jedi academy is one of my favorite games of all time. The multiplayer was really cool.

Yes. Probably favorite multiplayer game – beside that I cannot say.

did anyone ever play that wicked sweet star warss battlefield 42 mod

Except MW 1 and 2? God, they were just too excellent for words. /dripping sarcasm

Woah wait, what? Even with the shitty bugs and incomplete story, I honestly felt KotOR II had a better story, deeper characters and more involvement than KotOR I. In any case, they are at least on par.

Totally agree. Also Star Wars: Yoda Stories: BEST STAR WARS GAME EVER. HECK YEAH

KOTOR 2 was better than KOTOR for me while it lasted, but it still didn’t feel complete by the end. Liked them pretty equally though.

Bro fist. Jedi Knight was my shit. I even tried recreating it in Jedi Academy (quake 3 engine) a few years ago. Got like 3-4 levels done. Links to what I made here and here.

It was looking pretty good there. Would have been an awesome remake since I could never really get into the JK series.

What really made Jedi Knight incredible was its online community in the MSN Zone. The modding being distributed through massassi.net with plenty of creative modders and players made for the most unique FPS community I’ve ever been apart of.

It makes gaming communities now feel more restrictive and self-important. It was amazing to have a game that was really shaped by the hands of the community itself, not through their feedback.

I think my JK folder was over 3 gb, when the game is not even 900 megs. So many levels and mods, and they were all used regularly.

/nostalgia

Yeah, I remember someone took the Red Carbonite chamber from Empire Strikes Back, and added Vader and Luke models. I remember joining with someone and being all like,

"[COLOR=‘Red’]The force is with you, young Skywalker, but you are not a Jedi yet… "

P.S. It’s funny that the link I posted of Jedi Knight shows the camera having that tilt motion that Black Mesa is going to have.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
