If we’re talking about the original Trilogy, Star Wars wins. It’s a perfect narrative film, unlike Star Trek which just goes ON and ON.
Star Trek is about the series, not the films. Most of them are pretty crap.

Has anyone considered that if the recent Star Trek movie is considered canon, that none of the rest of Star Trek lore after that point doesn’t necessarily happen? It just occurred to me.

It started with Star Trek for me. Captain Kirk was the bomb as far as I was concerned. Star Wars just made it all the more beautiful.

Star Wars original trilogy all the way , and maybe Episode 1 . IMO the animated “clone wars” series where a big mistake and it’s just a sign that they’ve run out of ideas and are starting to milk the franchise
