hey, I need a bit of help here, Every time I try to start up S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl after adding an essential file for mods into the directory, it crashes I checked the Crashlog and here’s what’s coming up

Try running verifying game cache files through steam.

Another possible solution would be to delete everything from your gamedate folder (dont forget to back-up if you do this!).

Tell us exactly what you did and what mod you installed. What is this essential file for mods? The change on the line “game_data” of your fsgame.ltx or something?

I’ll try what Jotie said, I think the “gamedata” folder generated by STALKER unpacker had a bad file or two in it…

I’ll Be damned, that WAS the problem. if a moderator would be so kind, this thread is now insignificant.

verify with steam, then install the complete mod. Only thing you’ll ever need.

This wasn’t worth making another thread, so I’ll ask here

Does anyone knows if there’s any GOOD 3rd person camera mod for any game of the series?..I’ve seen a few on youtube, for SOC and CS, nothing for COP, but most of them have problems with the AIMING , I don’t know which ones are the best, or if there is any way to fix those things?
