Sprint Toggle

It would appear science is in the making.

Paint skills are skill-full.

i hope you will have the following key-binds/settings in there:

-climb key: In HL1 i climbed up small crates by walking against them and spamming crouch-key rly fast… so you were able to use the russian-duck to climb up small crates. It was faster and easier to control.

-long jump key: one key for performing a forward longjump (aka. silent longjump script)

-edgefriction settings…

-mp_bunnyhop on/off

  1. Yes we have a jump key.
  2. nope
  3. nope
  4. no bunny hopping in sp

It would be nice if there were a crouch toggle in SP. My pinky gets cramps without it. :stuck_out_tongue:

BMS forums: So nitpicky, the way you format text ingame is up to intense scrutiny.

Also

BMS: So secretive, even the menu options are under media blackout.

I’m assuming they blacked out the options because they say “enable dx11 tesselation”, “turn on real time ray trace rendering” and “turn your computer into a giant mech from space that saves kittens from pirates”

That solution you have there is not really good. In the end you basicly end up pressing and holding the shift key no matter which setting you have. It would be better to toggle running with a key. Or did I understand it wrong?

sv_always_run 1/0

If on then you always run and you use shift to walk.
If off then you always walk and you use shift to run.

You run by auto in HL1, but still. There are no AUXes. Why? Because in HL1 you use Mark IV HEV, Not Mark V from HL2. So… no AUXes! :stuck_out_tongue:

Key binding for great victory!

We found it silly to have aux power for the flashlight and sprinting.

So is the flashlight infinite?

“yes” - wiki

I figure it’s not that hard to create an alias that essentially toggles between running and walking, but since it’s a server CVAR it would probably be cheat protected in multiplayer, or isn’t it?

Undetermined at this time. However, you may be forced to always run as we would like DM to be fast.

Depends if the team is going to do multiplayer, which is highly unlikely.

…lol

the reason why i want to see bhop and climbing(russian-duck) or a bigger stepsize:

edit 1: don’t be lame and tell me this is unrealistic. this is hl and it roxx this way. it’s just amazing speed, control and advanced gameplay. btw… even css has a bhop on/off command for servers.

edit 2: in my opinion removing bhop from hl (with the lack of bhop in bm:dm) it would be the same like removing hotkeys from starcraft2… no pro would play it. it would make the game slow, unexciting and uncompfortable to play.

if black mesa deathmatch is good enough people will find new exploits, but they can’t just keep the old ones, especially considering they’re already fixed by the EP2 engine

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
