Sprint Toggle

i think it would be a good idea if you could put a sprint toggle ( to make like when you always sprinted in hl1) in the game to make it more like the original. like if the toggle was on, press shit to stop sprinting (hl1) or toggle sprint off and you walk all the time and sprint with shift (like hl2)

please don’t

lol *shift

i was high :freeman:

You have the ability to switch between always run or always.
So you can always run and use the +speed button to walk or you can always walk and use the +speed button to run.

We also added a custom interface in the main menu where you can toggle walk/run feature along with many more options.

Awesome.

Great news, perhaps there’ll be some really interesting goodies in that custom menu.

we should update the wiki with that information. I would assume it should go here: https://www.wiki.blackmesasource.com/Singleplayer_Movement

That is interesting, anything else you’re willing to share about this new menu interface?

I’d say coolm4ns rant backfired.

Good Idea!

It mimics the options menu. The game options menu ( not the options menu ) can include any console variable and add new tabs with ease just by modifying a single file. It contains many features controlled by console variables like the sprint/walk issue.

I’d say “MEDIAZ!!1” but I won’t.

That’s great.

Nice, except that there should be no space between the brackets and the text.

meh

I think the spaces are okay, as long as that format is consistently used. It helps to make sure the brackets don’t merge into the first and last letters at all.

I like that menu addition. Should be useful.

Beat me to it

But seriously guys. Mediaz. Pretty excited right now.
Also, the reason the rest is censored is because they use dicks as a placeholder for text.

It’s a grinning face with sunglasses, a magic stick and a hat. (I don’t know the exact word for that kind of hat in english)

no, its clearly electrical jizz

you guys clearly don’t know your science
