Source SDK problem/s

Whenever I run Source SDK and go to the Face poser, I get a fatal error saying:

  1. Website doesn’t work.
  2. Wut.
  3. Wut.

I don’t know what’s happened. Since I reinstalled Steam, This has just been happening.
I reinstalled it again and it still happens.

Any solutions guys?

Something else:
In the main menu for Source SDK.
Anything I try to go into: e.g Hammer, Faceposer etc.

refresh source sdk content?

go into the game directory

(i.e. C:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\username\insurgency\insurgency)
and check if the gameinfo.txt is there.

Does this happen for every game that you mod for or just some of them?

If it happens for every game you might want to check the gameinfo.txt in the sdk folder, i.e. \steamapps\sourcesdk\bin\ep1\bin\vconfig\

you could also just go into your steamapps folder and search for gameinfo.txt

Don’t know anything about the first problem, but with the second, you might have to manually setup your game configurations.

You can find that somewhere on the Valve developer community.

I have 3 gameinfo.txt files.
One in Garry’s Mod
another in Source SDK
and another in the Source SDK bin in the EP1 bin.

Run the game you’re using SDK for… that should generate a new gameinfo.txt
