yesterday around 9 pm local time, we saw some weird spiral light moving fast in the sky, its light was really bright and we even smelled the smoke!, any thoughts ?

Most likely a bigger than usual meteoroid grazing through the atmosphere.
but we’ve never seen anything like it before, might be some weird rare event ? and like I said, we smelled the smoke! it was nasty

Well, things from space do burn pretty hot when entering our atmosphere at high speed.
The air around them burns pretty hot. Meteors are quite chilly when they are out in outer space but they aren’t lava-hot when they hit the Earth; they are cool to the touch.

Maybe it was a module of the ISS that accidentally broke down from it and entered the atmosphere, or maybe a nuclear missile test by Iran, or maybe a UFO, or maybe a new type of fireworks, or maybe someone tried to launch Paris Hilton into space.
I don’t know.
I read that as Metroid at first.

Shadi, the flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.
