If you want to play in the extreme stage of games, get Hl2 Extreme. It’s very intense oh and Hl2 substance.
You should also get Gmod, zombie Panic: source, and Afraid of Monsters. Afraid of Monsters is a Hl 1 mod, but it is scary man

I mean, geeze, how can people post the WIKI page before posting a link to planetphillip? Wiki has all of 8 single player mods listed, 2 of which it doesn’t even provide links for and a 3rd that isn’t even out yet (Black Mesa)
Planetphillip has around 1000 mods(and counting) for Half Life, Half Life 2, Episode 1, and Episode 2, and it allows you to sort through them by highest recommendation, by most recommendations, by year, alphabetically, and pretty much any other way imaginable.
