Got AvP 2010, installed it, played for an hour, uninstalled it.
six bucks and 12 gigabytes for a badly-ported game I can’t even run at my native resolution.
Definitely getting the xbox version if I can’t wait for Colonial Marines to come out.

They probably meant at 720x640 pixels
I’ve tried it at smaller resolutions, low everything, DirectX 9. Nothing.
Well, something, but it looks and runs like shit.
EDIT: So, I guess they weren’t completely wrong, but I was under the impression that it would work a little better. Some games they claim I can’t run I can run just fine.
Bad Company 2 is very CPU intensive. The faster and more cores it has, the better.

Finally bought Battlefield Bad Company 2, great game.
I bought Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, A few others and gifted Quite a few other games.
Well after the buying binge I ended up with
Batman Arkham Asylum
Burnout Paradise
Saints Row 2
Battlefeild Badco 2
Devil May Cry 4
Assassins Creed 2
Torchlight
Borderlands
and Battlefield 2
I’m complete now
My sister got me Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and I haven’t yet played #2, so I got that this morning through Steam. Better be worth it!
HL:S and Machinarium.
I now own every valve game ever made
I’m so happy that more people here are going to play the multiplayer masterpiece that is Bad Company 2.
half-life complete, super meat boy, killing floor, humble indie bundle 2+1, and VVVVVV
Indeed.
I bought Bad Company 2 for 6 bucks, the FEAR Complete Pack for 10, and the Unreal Deal Pack for 15. Luckily those other 2 deals came up a second time.
I plan on buying this: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/4587/
(Any recommendations of something else to spend my money on?)
PS: Fear 2 is taking so damn long for me to DL. Its a good thing that I already DLed BC2 .
Add Killing Floor, KOTOR, and Serious Sam (all of them) to my list
I don’t think I’ve bought anything during the Christmas sale, I’ve been too bloody broke to afford anything. However, not too long ago I got the Indie Story pack on sale. Still playing the crap out of Recettear, haven’t touched the rest. I also got Chime, Shatter, Machinarium, and Audiosurf during the Steam Treasure hunt. Played Chime and Shatter to get the achievements, haven’t gotten to Machinarium, play Audiosurf now and then.
On the whole, though, it’s probably a good thing I can’t afford these games, because then I would buy them all just because they were cheap and hardly touch any of them, so it would really be a waste of money. As I like to say, you only save money if you were going to buy it anyway. I had hoped to get Oblivion on sale though, but 25% isn’t that big a reduction, and it’s pretty cheap anyway.
i didnt buy shit during the XMAS Sale. Although, a friend bought me 2 games
bought zumas revenge. played it a bunch alreadly
already played it a bunch when i pirated it on relaese. popcap make the best games
Bought Super Meat Boy, was going to buy Fallout 3 GOTY, but someone decided to buy it for me. The same person also bought be CS:S because they promised to buy it a while back if it went on sale.
I just picked up the Serious Sam HD pack and Killing Floor for $10. Life is good.
