So what easter eggs were in HL2?

Yeah, it might not be hugging, but it sure as hell is hillarous, and it sure as hell LOOKS like hugging XD
:freeman:

I CAN??? WHERE???

I wrote that months ago and and an admin already changed the title.

there were some lost easter eggs and you could find a H.E.V. suit charger plate there too.

You’re thinking Episode 2. However, HL2 had a suit charger plate as well, and Eli’s lab has a volume of “LOST BOOKS”, where LOST is the only plainly visible part, so that may lead to confusion (it did for me :stuck_out_tongue: )
There’s also suicide guy, all the gman sightings, and various weapon caches.

Yeah, I know, I have a thread about it. :freeman:

where?

emm… about those H.E.V. suit charger plates - i think that in hl2 there’s actually two of them. one in black mesa east junkyard and another one somewhere in canals at one of combine outposts. (I may be wrong 'couse I haven’t played hl2 in a really long time.)

You can break the mini-teleporter in Kleiner’s lab. The Cremator head in Eli’s (did someone mention that already?)

On the coast, near the gas station. That’s as specific as I’m getting, as it is an easter egg and an achievement.

Side note: I don’t get achievements because I use offline mode. :frowning:

Edit the first post, and change the “title” field.

how?

edit: dammit, sorry didn’t mean to doublepost

If I recall correctly you are supposed to put something large or heavy on the teleporter and start it up. (If this in some way helps in getting some achievement I am sorry for spoiling it.)

No, you just have to use it over and over until it overheats or something.

Generally fuck with it

I put big objects on it, removed whilst porting etc.

I meant the thread title, not my post title. Doesn’t seem to change the thread’s one.

damn, i thought it did

it would be nice if someone could be a little more specific maybe a screenshot
ive played through hl2 a dozen times and never found this suicide guy

I guess he means this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TL5-ambCCdo

He’s in behind the gas storage tank opposite the station, on the other side of the road, along with a 357, some small props, and graffiti.

Yesterday I noclipped for the first time. Nothing’s going to be the same. I feel wrong and weird.

On the plus side, I did find Dr. Breen sat in a room in the sky, and got to shoot him in the head, so that was some compensation.

Seriously, I’m slightly worried noclipping may have ruined everything forever.
