So what easter eggs were in HL2?

You can also see them in Minerva: Metastasis, if you can’t be bothered to search for them in Episode 1.

I think the model file is actually combine_bed or something like that.

I found a Vortigount in the canals hidden in a tube with a fire going. He was sick. I dropped him off some Advil pills

Gman on TV! ( He should have his own show by now)

I’m not sure if anyone’s said this before, but I climbed up some pipes in Route Canal and found an air vent. I smashed it, and inside was one man hack. When I went farther I found a zombie torso guarding a holy music GRENADE! A GRENADE IN ROUTE CANAL!

EDIT: Oh, yeah, and there’s that fast headcrab that eats the girl that gives you the airboat.

I found that on my first time playing HL2. :retard:

Hey which canal level is it? Canal06?
I’ve been easter egg hunting in Half-life 1 and 2 like crazy.
Down in the tunnel where you meet the first metro cop with a smg. On the right of him is a sunken tunnel and you can fight your first zombie/half zombie. Just crawl down it. It takes a bit though. It’s like a pretty long tunnel

Where I found the Vortigaunt is in an open gate to a tube after you destroy that helicopter. The open tube can be located after you enter the first gate after defeating the choppa. Be prepared to run through a lot of toxic waste in this tube. Which is why I saved it before entering. It’s really not worth the effort to find him and then leave with the amount of health taken to run through a tunnel of shit water.

Question: How can you get achievements for Half-life 2?

Xbox.

<.<

.>

Wait, she dies? NOOOOOOOOOOO! :’(
Wait, then who’s on the radio when you get to station 7?

previously, the achievements were X-Box exclusive. However, a mod has been made that ‘recreates’ HL2 in the EP2 engine (this includes HDR and updated textures) and adds Steam achievements.

I recommend the torrent, its faster than DLing it through your browser (at least for me it was).

FYI, you have to have both HL2 & HL2:EP2 installed for this to work.

Lol, I have every Valve game made. I am the collector of Valve games and also Gearbox since they did their fair job of Opposing Force and Borderlands.

Btw, Thanks for the link. It works!

Yeah, that’s the one he meant. Behind the zombie torso in that low-down tunnel is the first grenade in the game. If you get up to the section with the locked gate, and you have to go around through that building to blow up those barrels, which release a long pole to blast through the gates; you can use that grenade instead! Cut that whole section out of the game

You can do it anyway with the pistol. :3

The damn zombie knocked the barrel into the Metropolice that was chasing me and killed him! Wow, what a screw up. Lol, the barrel jeted out of the tunnel

Kleiner does say “There’s only one Hedy” once, it is when you teleport from Nova Prospect into Kleiners lab, when you are suposed to leave, stay and hear Alyx and Kleiner argue with each other.
Alyx: We can pick up another headcrab, there’s plenty of them!
Kleiner: No, there’s only one Hedy.
:freeman:

There is one thing in Nova Prospect where two combines are hugging each other, it’s sick! You must have notarget to find it. It’s just awsome! :freeman:

There’s a suit battery in Route Kanal in the room before the room with the rising water switch. You have to drag a barrel up onto an overhanging pipe to get at it, however. I wish I had gotten an achievement for getting that battery.

No there isn’t. Combine Soldiers have no hugging animations.

I swear, I have a picture of it. It isn’t really an animation, they are just standing there, but I’ll wright a link to my webs.com site where the picture exists. And I swear this isn’t G-Mod, I don’t even have it. https://halflifepicture.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=95517823
:freeman:

You can do it yourself, you know?

That’s not really hugging. They’ve just spawned in the same place. Still pretty funny, though.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
