So Mininova is Dead ?

I own over 70 games that I payed for at the least.

So even though I occasionaly download a game, I contribute more to the industry than you do.

And don’t go giving me that ‘But your downloaded games compensate for your bought games’ crap. Because copies don’t have any value.

Now stop basing your arguments on a post which was made on the first page, read the rest of the topic and get back to me.

piracy is not stealing, its a lot more complicated then that, if you can fully explain intellectual property in relation to piracy. I will accept otherwise
Something that wasn’t their but is now because you downloaded it is the equivlant of going into a car park and stealing an invisible ferraia, please please please explain how that makes sense?

taking a picture of the mona lisa doesn’t mean you now have the mona lisa. However, you can hang the picture in your living room for much the same effect. It doesn’t mean you STOLE the mona lisa.

Its a valid example of similar trends. You have been doing the same.

I’m going to laugh at the irony in that statement while you sit back completely oblivious.

You cannot say “this is the facts! this is how it is!” without providing any kind of evidence or proof, and then get bitchy when we tell you the opposite, especially when we’re actually providing more supporting arguments than you are. At the moment your comments have been mostly limited to “well games are expensive cuzzz they are and liek piracy is killing them becuz hrurudururrrrr mindless dribble.”

Grow up.

It depends, it could be copyright infringement.

I didn’t know they had copyright back then.

Maybe it is copyright infringement. But that still isn’t stealing.

It’s still copyright infringement and that doesn’t make it better.

I didn’t reference it being better or worse ( whatever the hell that means )
I just stated there is a difference.

I mainly use torrents to replace my games that I’ve lost in some way.

Hey, I already paid for it. Why not.

Well, the creator of that particular work DID die almost 500 years ago…

Guys remember this from the early nineties?

"This video contains content from Vevo, who have blocked it in your country because they are fags. "

Use a proxy?

Either way, it’s video of Weird Al’s “Don’t Download This Song”.

Are we on topic? Are we contributing to the topic?

I thought we were. Downloading songs is a form of copyright infringement and something you could do, until recently, via Mininova.

alrighty then. carry on then.

(knows nuthin of mininova)

mininova wasn’t even really that good. had lots of viruses. demonoid is much better.
