If you’re going to use the AR, you need to learn about how long it takes to get their shields low enough to kill them in one melee hit. Or stay far enough away that they don’t get to melee you.
(I use the AR almost exclusively whenever I play Halo, I just don’t like a lot of the guns in that game, it’s easy to just go with what you spawn with for me.)
In CE, I usually ditch the assault rifle for a plasma rifle and hold on to the pistol if I can.
Who ever dumps the pistol in CE?
Don’t get me wrong, I eat a lot of fish, in particular salmon, which is rich in beneficial fatty acids you mentioned. In my opinion salmon is also superior to CoD in taste.
It’s all about breaking through the shields, THEN delivering the damage. It just takes longer.
in regards to op, why even give a fuck about what people think about the things you like.
fuck it, just go with what ever you want, why care about other peoples opinions?
hatersgonnahate etc.
edit: also the AR in halo is ok, it’s pretty decent close quarters, most matches just turn into a runateachothershootingthenpunchtheminthefaceandseewhowins.
My sentiments exactly.
I understand the concept, but I’ve never really been all that good at it.
Yeah, I’m a guy that stands back and bursts the AR. I end up winning against the melee crawlers most of the time as long as I don’t let them touch me.
I play all games. All games except shitty games like GoW and CoD.
Gears of War is okay.
If you don’t count the competitive multiplayer which was thrown together at the end of development for the first game.
The multiplayer in the first game is not even worth playing. The experience was greatly improved for the second iteration. Course, the single-player campaigns of both games were quite fun.
I think the Gears franchise is at its best when you’re running co-op, otherwise it’s a pretty basic solo experience with ok AI buddies. It’s really like trying to play Left4Dead by yourself.
thought you said God of War. then i was like - ohhhhh… …nvm
haven’t had a SP campaign impress me in a very long time. Halo didn’t work. that fucking flood, repetitive walls when you meet the flood. everything about the flood. hate.
gears was ehh.
last great impression ME1. before that HL.
I agree about the Flood. In a game that depends on you not being in combat to dynamically save checkpoints, the flood sorta break that system wide open.
I was satisfied with the Gears campaigns until Gears 3. They weren’t ever great, but Gears 1 and 2 were decent at least, and pretty fun in coop. Gears 3 just got annoying, and they pulled a Lost and forgot to explain some very important things. Like why the fuck was the locust queen a human?
I didn’t really enjoy fighting the flood that much. That was one of the things that annoyed me about halo 2, so much damn flood in the arbiter parts (and near the end)
They were more frustrating then interesting imo.
The flood is a stupid enemy.
I know, those little things that jump onto someone and turn them into a zombie? That’s ridiculous, man.
They look ultra un-intimidating and are not satisfying to fight. They work all right as a plot element, I suppose, but they look silly and cliche.
Still dont get the hype about halo … yeah sure it was one of the first console shooters that worked with an controller. and the multiplayer was kinda fun. But what is so special about it? at least not the story. a couple of years ago i bought an xbox 360 with halo 3. played it for ten minutes and never played it again. bought the orange box and played every episode twice and portal just because the single player. heck even the cod 4 single-player was more enjoyable than halo.
