signiture pic not valid?

I’m not sure if this has been posted before, and i’m sorry if it has, but considering that the forum has no search function i have to ask here. For some reason, after entering (https://steamsigpics.tapgamer.com/steam_statimage.php?p=radioactiveyeti&s=bm) in the url area i get a message saying, “invalid file”.

I checked the FAQ and it simply said where to find the signiture picture and no advice on actually inserting it.

I eventually just gave up and imput the url in the signiture area below. please help, and thanks in advanced.

Works fine here. Are you sure you did it right?

Code should be: [IMG]https://steamsigpics.tapgamer.com/steam_statimage.php?p=radioactiveyeti&s=bm

(without the space at the end)

Look in the sig bitch. It’s fine, you’re doing something odd
.

yeah, just tried. hmm…do you think it could be google chrome. ill go try really quick and then edit.

Seeing as I’ve been using Google Chrome since release and never had problems besides with apps or plugins that have not yet been designed for chrome, chrome is not your problem.

Edit: I just tested it, the picture goes fine in signature. Go to the signature area of your User CP and enter [IMG]https://steamsigpics.tapgamer.com/steam_profiles/682a8cdd024ff47e25e5e1b8cb6ccb03.png[/IMG_] (without the _ at the end if [/IMG_]) into the white box and it will show up as an image. And yes, I did this in Google Chrome.

ok. it didn’t work in internet explorer either. so i copied deathmonkey7’s url without the space and it still said the file was not valid. i tried to just save the image and then just upload it, but it came out really small

It has to be something you’re doing wrong. I tried it. It works.
uploading the image defeats the purpose of the tag.

note: You shouldn’t be putting ANYTHING into the field labeled URL it all goes into the big white box when changing the sig.

There, I see it in your sig now. Just stop touching anything and it should stay there.

yeah i just got it thx, oh and sorry for the little thing that happened on the other forum

Okay, I lied. It doesn’t.
