My current style tries to emphasize movement and detail moreso than shape. That isn’t necessarily good.

Actually, it would, the way I visualize things in my head is far better looking than what I produce.

I came.

neato, but is that how you make low poly shit like in megaman legends? i also intended to make a pixelart texture but i just wanted to go to sleep.

I think that’s always the case with everybody except for those ultra-talented Mozart-like people, but we’re spiteful of them anyway. It takes practice and definitely trying new things, which I’m guessing you’ve done. Try working on cleaning it up after you’ve finished doing the lines, or maybe even after you’ve colored for something different. Go back over your squiggles and clean them up into single smooth lines. Keep practicing until you feel you’re somewhat competent, then go back and see how you can improve your “squiggle” habits, see if you can do away with it, or are still comfortable with it, and improve it.

But I’m sure most of that you already know if you’ve been drawing a long time. Just try to improve your skills so you CAN do more, you don’t want to be a one-trick pony. Remember, Picasso was actually a pretty skilled realist painter, it’s just that at some point he decided to do something different and found his new niche.

Make a Half-Life mod where the houndeyes are replaced by this (or headcrabs), and I will never, ever openly puzzle over your strange obsession with that dog breed in any negative manner.

Some stuff I am/have been working on for some of our company’s products.

Simple visualization of how our online-approval software works (computer to server and back)

Workflow for a preflight/print-layout package:

Same software as above, but for a different business

Large format digital press and one of our cutting tables

And finally some stuff that got declined for various reasons (not clear enough, outdatded or downright shit)

What species is this?

I think it’s a dog… The kind of dog in his signature… Though I’m not sure that thing in his signature is actually a dog, or a mutated rat.

Oh my god, Bolteh it’s a bomb!

a derpy

Well I made this because we were talking about alien swarm and making maps, and corgis came up. Then I realized there aren’t any corgi models in the internet! I started rigging it but I don’t understand anything.

more shitty ass boxes, now including untextured jaw and tounge!

Really? No corgi models out there?

Looks more like a… Corgieosaurus Rex

YOU FORMAT THAT NAME PROPERLY, MISTER!!
Corgeiosaurus rex Patonki.

Started working on my pain-in-the-ass-to-texture hallway, brushes only so far. (will have pipes below the grate texture etc.)

@Bolteh

Nifty diagrams there. I know how tedious that gets when you realize there there are only like 30 more diagrams to go.

Also you are a lucky bastard for having access to a large cutting table like that. Fucking love those things.

Well, seeing as we produce those tables, we have loads of them here, ranging from small format, short-run production, to large-format fully automatic production.

Those things even cut through wood and plexi. Might ask some day if I can cut a guitar body on one of those things, would serve as a pretty neat demo.

no, but it is an easy way for someone who doesn’t know how to model to make a model that looks haflway decent

What program do you use to do that in? Photoshop? (I really don’t know.)

Those were made in Illustrator, with some touch-ups in Photoshop.

Small but time consuming update. When I have the time I’ll start adding models.
