WARNING! Fail displacements incoming!

Yeah, displacements are my worst area of mapping right now so obviously I should make a map revolving around them.

It looks good, needs some FX though (fog etc.)

Moar LEGO, I have all the different sizes of the bricks shown on this pic but they didn’t fit on the screen. :fffuuu:

Those are some sexy bricks.

Sexy Legos, more like.

Bad-ass… So the sniper’s name is Mandark. Brilliant.

THE PLURAL OF LEGO IS FREAKIN’ LEGO. GOT IT?

Kk… :expressionless:

@Someonerandm

Do you blame me for mistaking the correct plural when I am absolutely knackered?

You want to be angry because I used the wrong wording, even though there are people much, much worse?

OK.

Personally, I’m more worried by the part where they’re sexy than by the part where the grammer’s wrong…

No, its just that here in America everyone says Legos, and its my personal pet peeve. It really shouldn’t bother me, but oh well.

I live in America and I’ve always called them Lego. It annoys me when people call it Legos.

Also, those 4x4 and 2x4 bricks sould be grained on the slope, you’re fucking doing it wrong.

well gj mate. now widen your gaze like you have widen it already with your avatar.

Meh, I have never heard anyone say the word “Legos block” before. >.>

Because it isn’t a plural :hmph:

They are not subdivided models, a grained surface would be a texture map and obviously I haven’t started on those yet so no I’m not “fucking doing it wrong”.

Another update (this part was a nightmare to model):

Just one question: Why don’t you just play with real legos?

I need to improve on modelling, some of these LEGO bricks are quite complex, I don’t have any of their measurements (except for the basic 1x1 / 4x2 bricks) so I have to use some tricks to get the proper sizes.
I’m thinking of making some small animation videos aswell once I get it all done.
