That’s precious.
The UNDERGROUND STUDIO part gives me the impression that it’s just one guy with no money trying to seem gritty and edgy
Improvements on a model I posted earlier
V-ray render

Well, it used to be true. The guy who created this studio started in his basement, recording tracks for local hip-hop groups. But he’s made some smart moves and right now he has his own place, makes a lot of cool stuff and doesn’t seem to have any financial problems. So why not make him a logo animation…
Lately, I have been sketching figures for shits and giggles.
I don’t even know what.
i really liked the composition with your previous 2 images but when it’s animated
i dont know
it just lacks punch
I think the whole revolving and hammer action at the start hangs a little, if that were fast, then it zoomed in, that’d be better I think
No, no. Stop everything. Patonki just admitted on the internet he really liked something.
i lied
Well, it’s kind of low res and scaled up so the quality sucks. More detail would help it a lot but I didn’t have enough time to render it in HD (it took 32 hours for a 720x405 version). I’ll finish it later (maybe add a camera shake but I’ve tried it already and I like it more static), no time for that right now…
this.
also, i didn’t even notice that it was a revolver at first
Needs to be more gritty, as it is it’s pretty light and clean. Also, muzzleflares need redoing, they’re nothing like that. I could say a few other things, but, top priority, photoshop off the NERF logo on the weapon :retard:
It’s my videogame approach, so doesn’t need to look realistic or something.
YESSSS! Rock Raiders is the shit! I grew up with those Lego sets. There was even a decent RTS based on the property.
Rock Raiders was a little bit after my time, by then I’d moved into Technic, which is infinately better.
Get rid of the black smudges/shadows over the weapon hud, it’d look better
The game and sets were pretty cool even though they failed financially. I found the Lego set and took measurements of every piece. Then I modelled them in 3ds Max.
Brings back a lot of memories
What’s really great about those sets is all the nice parts. There was a lot of interesting stuff you could use in your models. But better yet- the space exploration sets, the early 90s runs? One of the rovers had a really nice brick that had a three way top- one top, one right, one left. And then it could be stacked on top of something else. Very handy for engine blocks, attachments to Lego rifles, etc.
