Ahhhhh, sneaky

retro?

wheybags, mm… what retro?

Me and my girlfriend as zombies for Halloween.

So I made footpedals for my computer…

Awesome, no?

They’re hideous. What do they do?

steam organ emulator?

No, I have one set to talk, one to screenshot, and the other two set to melee and secondary weapon. I can now play TF2 better, because I can move right and talk at the same time.

Thats actually an interesting concept.

Are they actual paddels or simple buttons?

This is only version 0.1, so they’re crude switches I hand built from aluminum foil and clothspins, and then grafted to an old scrap gamepad. Took me about 3 hours to make and about $6 worth of parts that I already had lying around. I don’t have any potentiometers attached, but there are four built into the gamepad, so I’ll integrate those into my next version. I also plan to build them from something a little more durable than cardboard. This set is mostly a prototype and proof of concept.

how can you not talk and move at the same time? what’s your voice button?

his left butt.

Most people would have bought a numerous-button mouse.

It’s ‘V’. I can hold it and move, it just that it takes up a finger and I can’t move to the right as quickly.

That’s the default, isn’t it?

Yeah, it is. It’s not terrible. It’s easy enough to reach, I just wanted a better solution.

yeah it is. I changed mine to shift, so I can talk without having to use my feet!
