Also at the super store I saw Serious Sam II in a bin for 3$ with a bunch of crappy games. TRUE STORY!!! We bought it and gave it to my brother so we can go on co-op together, too!
I reccomend getting TFE and finishing it first.

Kinda sucks that they haven’t bothered with updating any of the sound effects or music.

Yes, a new game would at least have different sound effects.
You can improve the quality of the same shitty sound as much as you like but it’ll still be a shitty sounding sound.
Also, what’s the with HD version using recycled animations from the original? This isn’t Counter-Strike Sauce.
Maybe I’m mistaking “High Definition, new engine” as “We remade the game to not only look fresh 'n clean, but also feel fresh 'n clean”

It’s probably just to test out the graphics engine. We’ll see the real power of Serious Engine 3 when Serious Sam 3 comes out.
But yeah, it is just the original but prettier.
