Security guards

You may be a scientist, but I don’t think you work at Black Mesa. Unless Gordon Freeman is a girl… :jizz:

Uh well, savage arms makes a shotgun that is accurate up to 300 meters with slugs. I know this because I have a friend…who I watched shoot a 300 meter target with a 12 gauge slug.

Me right now i have a little theory
that maybe some guards were trained
in HEV Suits to protect them selves if
for some reason they were sent to
Xen to secure most black mesa checkpoints
and camps in Xen cause im pretty sure most
BM Personnel were sent to xen to like find
stuff so yeah

The guards wouldnt see what they were looking for.

The helmet has lenses you know, so I don’t see how they wouldn’t.

Oh shi-

I think the Security Guards should be trained in all of the nearby human-made weapons that are “native” to Black Mesa (the weapons normally in Black Mesa before the incident), to an extent. Keep in mind that guards often say, “All that time at the target range finally pays off” or something like that.

Well, see what happned when they tried the tao canon…

Are slugs legal for civilians?

As far as I know they are.

very legal…atleast in the US, depending on the city and state. DC and baltimore it is illegal to have guns, so it would be illegal to have slugs. Hell you can even get hallow point 12 gauge slugs. Although in my state they have some pretty queer laws, like magazines can’t hold more than 20 rounds( although I’m military I get all the 30 round mags I want), rifles with barrels shorter than 16 inches are illegal, and getting a carry permit is near impossible.

Oh, i’ve got to go to america!

The barneys could give the player 9mm ammo after a little request!? That would prevent the inane kill-the-guard-for-fun-and-ammo-actions.

^ Interesting idea. It could be the guard’s version of the scientists giving the player health when he needs it. Would be quite nice.

batteries for there stunsticks?
sorry this is from 2 pages back.

That would be an excellent idea, it would save inexperienced players from running out of ammo at the beginning. Of course, IMO it should only work when the player is nearly out of ammo (just like the scientists only heal you if you’re near death).

I do agree with it but…I thought this was already suggested a few pages back.

yeah, what he said.

Don’t. They will probably fucking kill you.

Um…yeah uh… cause we are extremely hostile people…and what not. Oh wait were you just talking about killing lolipopboy? Yeah we would, but everyone else is welcome.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
