That makes two of us.
Woah, that was pretty Zen. Careful there, the independent-thought-police might come after you.
Oh wait, we only have those in America.
We do?
Hmm. They must not be doing there jobs then.
They are. The independent-thought-police are people on forums like this who attack any original thought. Their everywhere and supposedly know everything.
90% of all original thought is utterly stupid, and none of the good 10% ever makes its way here.
Reminds me of an experiment where a group of people went on a hike through the desert. And at one point, their was a large ‘bush’. They could hardley see through the bush, but on the other side was a soldier with an assault rifle (and some other things, but I can’t remember). Anyway the soldier yelled and demanded they turn around and leave immediately. A while later they were all interviewed (individually) about what happened during the hike. And what do you know, despite them seeing and hearing the same thing, none of their stories matched.
maybe guard will flee when utterly losing or encountering a enemy they cant hope to defeat like a guard against gargantua(though some can be scripted to ignore this like the tentacle-barney)
also how would guard with bats be like
they could use the animation of metrocops and a remodeled stunstick
I don’t think the security guards are going to use bats since there’s no situation in which a bat would be favoured over a gun.
Although, the fleeing thing makes sense. Every time I have the guard who opens the garage in the end of Surface Tension come with me, I run from the garg, and he just stands there and shoots it.
Where would you find a bat in a nuclear testing facility?
He means a security baton, of which you would find many.
Oh. I think the guards in general should have good weapons. They work in a facility that has dangerous creatures and experiments on those creatures, and I think the guards would be better equiped than normal guards.
They’re armed with Spas-12 Combat Shotguns. Considering the damage those do to living tissue, it makes perfectly logical sense that those would be more than effective for dealing with any dangerous test subjects. Their power and relative ease of use make them much more ideal for security guards, as opposed to an MP5.
Yeah, you also don’t want to kill every single person who refuses to comply or follow rules. They are security guards, not commandos.
That doesn’t stop them going commando though.
The things you will see in Black Mesa. :fffuuu:
Well Black Mesa does store MP5’s, Grenades, and Spas 12’s.
Remember, though, the first grenades you see are in a SCIENTIST’s office.
Yeah but the maximum effective range of 12 gauge buckshot is 50 yards, after that you might as well throw rocks. I’d prefer an MP5 for it’s accuracy and medium range capability. Plus with shotguns rate of fire is slow and reloading times are high while the MP5 can be reloaded faster and fires faster. Also, in the original, security guards were armed with neither the Spas-12 nor the MP5. They only sported their 9mm glocks so I don’t know WTF you’re babbling about.
I thought they were in the walk-in freezer.
Unforseen Consequences, watch Freeman’s mind to see where they are.
