Scaning Pictures

Hello,Im having problems scaning pictures from my 3-in-1 printer. What im trying to do is scan a pic to my Computer, and when i press the scan button it makes a copy.Any help.

:expressionless:

might be more useful if you say the make and model of your 3-in-1

If you the the name of the 3-in-1,Its HP Deskjet F4400.

Seriously, I don’t like to do this, but this is a case where a simple “RTFM” should fix your problem.

Read tha fuckin’ manual, you derp.

Here you can download some Manuals in pdf.

HP Support (Need some time to load)

There you find: 3 Manuals.
Found it with google by searching for: “HP Deskjet F4400 manual” … first Search entry

Herp derps.

I did,infact that was the first thing i did.derp

Ya know what, inb4lock

I can’t be arsed locking this do it yourself.

Actually… hp sux all the way around. In this particular case it really could be an issue with the printer. Perhaps not. Anyway… my hp 3 in one printer likes to dork out once in a while… yesterday it did as a matter of fact. It wouldnt scan at all. Took me an hour to reset it. (grrr!)

My advise would be to go double check you have the latest software and drivers. (Doesnt matter if you do or dont… just do it again anyway and reinstall everything)

When you hit the copy button, (color or black and white button) you should get a copy. When you hit the scan button, you should get a pop up that asks if you want to save to file or what. If you dont, open the HP Solution Center to manually select that you want to scan it to file.

Good luck!

“Herpa derp durr.” is how the title shoud’ve been. Derp.

Next step: Understand the manual.

I don’t understand that step.

Don’t press the scan button on the physical printer (if that’s what you’re doing), but use the software on the computer instead… that might work. I joined just to post that… ive been following since the very beginning… wow

Thanks for lurking before posting, but dayum… ya could have made your first post a bit more orgasmic after making it this far and this long eh? :chuckle:

Specially since you basically repeated what I suggested. :stuck_out_tongue:

oh! And welcome to the forums!

Im not an ignorant 9 year old.

Thank you

(Edit)
