Dev teams are always disillusioned about the quality of their own work.
Talk to any developer at a game company. They will always say “I just hope the fans like it” in a half worried voice when asked about the quality of their game. Even for undeniably awesome games such as God of War III, this was the case.
If Ram says that members of the team have played it and had fun, that is a very, very good sign.
Thier ability to enjoy the game is MUCH less then ours, being “new” players, because they know every little detail about pretty much everything and know how this works and that works and have been exposed to everything the game has had to offer for nearly half a decade. That does make an impact on ones enjoyment of the game.
Its the artists sacrifice: You will never enjoy your work as much as someone from your audience might.
So guys. The game will come out. And it will be awesome. End of story.
