S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 Keyboard and Half-Life 3

Hello everyone!

A few days ago Mad Catz released a new keyboard called S.T.R.I.K.E. 7… The keyboard itself is very unique in design but there is something else that cought the attention of many Half-Life fans around the globe. If you look at the presentation video of this product you can see that on the LCD screen there is a Steam icon and Half-Life 3 icon also! Could this be some kind of marketing scheme by Mad Catz with Valve? I hope this is true…

Here is the video, it’s seen best at 0:25

At first I thought it was an HL2 logo, but there’s definately a 3, there. I wouldn’t lost sleep over it, though. Those logos are rather common and this is completely CG, so it’s probably just the designers putting it in there for fun.

Aside from that, though, that Keyboard looks fucking sick. Holy shit. I might need to get me one of those.

Old stuff here

They just want their overpriced keyboard monstrosity to get more attention.

I won’t get ready for anything until Valve is ready to tell us something. Still interesting though.

My guess is, some guy making the advertisement thought it’d be funny to tease people. I doubt it’s any more than that.

They’re secret assholes is all…

who buys crap like that :expressionless:

smacks head against the table

NOT ONE OF THESE THREADS AGAIN?! I SEE HL3 SYMBOLS IN MY CORNFLAKES! IS THIS A DEAL BETWEEN VALVE AND BREAKFASTZ?!1

Although I did like one of the top comments from a 14 year old who was complaining that he didn’t get a copy of HL3 with his keyboard. Nice.

If you see Half-Life 3 symbols in your cornflakes, I recommend you stop taking whatever medication your on right now and see your doctor. Or tell me what medication your on, so I can see them, too.
