I wanted some opinions on this keyboard? I would strictly get it because I can wash it in my dishwasher and roll it up. Think it would be worth the $40?

I have one of those. They suck.
You buzzkill, you.
Let me guess, the rubber texture sticks to your fingers or something related with the material its made of?
They’re just really tiring to type on, and the keys have next to no tactile feedback. Probably good if it’s for a computer in a dusty area (or maybe a wood shop?), but not very useful otherwise.
Besides, there’s a store near me that sells those for about $30 CAD off the shelf.
I’ve seen them go for 20 USD at the Boston Museum of Science.
That and it’s just not comfortable at all for long periods of typing.
I honestly don’t see the point in this for normal use anyways. Just buy a normal keyboard.
way cheaper here
https://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13684-Yellow $10.73
https://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7846 - blue $10.84

as with everyone else, yes they are annoying to type on. I could not use one of those as my primary keyboard, you have to very deliberately push straight down on each key to make proper contact. The only reason I have one is I use it for our DJ computer in my fraternities basement because I was tired of beer being spilled on and killing all of our other keyboards.
But you do get +10 hacker status if you roll one of these out connected to a pda/netbook then connect that to your cellphone for internet. (also x2 multiplier of you swap sim cards in the process )
[COLOR=‘DimGray’]I’ve done this in-front as a bunch of students in a lecture hall, after looking up and seeing everyones faces all I could think of was, dam it feels good to be a gangster.

my various keyboards
This, seriously.
Why buy a keyboard JUST because it can roll up and be washed in water with the risk it’s going to be crap.
@sersoftpi key for psp? if so awsm.
Also what did you do to that poor sd card
@Deimos I think I covered that
Dear GOD! Clean your room young man!
Bullshit. Everything’s overpriced in the gift shop and you know it.
OP, GET THE PINK ONE.
All right, I’ll get the pink one. Worth it for 12.50$
EDIT: Wait, I’m not digging that big brick on the side of them. Though for the money, bleh. Would be fun to have. All we need now is an adapter for the iPhone
The block is not that annoying because there is a numpad between it and the regular key. Also it makes a nice central core to wrap up around.
Just a word of warning about deal extreme (if you haven’t ever purchased from them before) shipping will take a looooong time, so I hope you don’t need it in a hurry.
a marine biologist freind of mine uses these to communicate with dolphins
thats a lie. Everyone knows dolphins use firewire.
