I’m really getting addicted to id Software games again. I’m playing all the Wolfensteins now (to get ready for the awesome looking new one), and owning in Quake Live!
I wish they had Mod support in Quake Live.
Whoops. Anyway, I was attempting to cite Rocket Knight Adventures.
/* or no, i’ll put it in YLYL thread;
moderators: delplease ^^ */
A real classic, but calling it retro is stretching it. MOHAA was released in 2002.
i do! i do! .D
Well, after months of pain, agony, and anticipation, I can finnaly add this to my list:
DOOM II!
It’s a freakin’ masterpeice! This is THE First-Person Shooter! The only game that can truly call it’s self “the DOOM killer!” The only problem is the god-awful controls (who the hell thought moving forward and backward with a mouse is a good idea?!) But thanks to ZDoom, this is easily fixed.
Now I just need to find out how to change the controls in ZDaemon (the online multiplayer source port for DOOM and DOOM II) and learn how to load mods into ZDoom, and I’ll probably never have to play another game again! Well, at least until id Software decides to release DOOM 4!
Secret of Mana
Ski Free
DigDug
Pong
midtown madness 2
Half life
quake 2
and Fallout 2
Goddamn, that monster at the end was a bitch.
right now i’m working on a remake of a great side-scroller game u all must know:

[COLOR=‘Gray’]/* i rly love it) */
Retro Gaming at its finest would be The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy game
here are some screenshots of this master game just look at these graphics
and then the remake on BBC 4’s website

Give it a go its fun once you get into but its actually trickier to play this and have never read the books or listened to the radio series or seen the show.
Gotta mention Terminator: Future Shock and its sequel/expansion Skynet. Made by Bethesda. While I was skeptical about Bethesda being able to make a good Fallout game, I knew that at least they shouldn’t have any problem doing a good post-apocalyptic setting since they already did it so well in their old Terminator games.
Unlike other Terminator games, they weren’t crappy movie tie-ins, they made them years after Terminator 2 was released. While Quake was doing corridors of grey and brown filled with monsters, Bethesda was doing huge ruined cities full of Terminators and flying Hunter-Killers, and Half-Life 2/Halo style drivable cars and aircraft, and FMV mission briefings featuring John Connor giving you orders. Awesome stuff.
Streets of Rage 2. I’m addicted and I started playing it when it came out @_@
Basically just post what the last movie you watched was and whether or not it was good.
Ill start
Obsessed.
It was alright. I didnt really expect Beyonce to be so violent…
How about no.
Funny, I see three great side-scrollers, one good 3d game, two strange-ass card game/RPG’s, and I don’t even really know what that last one is.
Who else here played Carmageddon back in the day?
Did you read the title of this thread?
I’ve been watching him, I don’t even think he’s real, pretty sure he’s some kind of weird bot.
He’s an Agent!
