Only problem is that Rockstar fixed a lot of the performance issues with the PC port of GTA IV, whereas Volition has NOT fixed performance issues in Saints Row 2.
Or you could play it on a console, right?
Is the hate for consoles so big in here, that you automatically assume I’m only talking about the PC version?
Anyway, Volition did not port it to the PC and they’ve since regretted having outsourced that to some other company.
It’s not hatred for consoles I’m talking about, I just don’t own any consoles.
Besides, the lack of optimization on PC is just one of the problems with the port.
It was terribly ported in almost every respect, even if you were able to put the game to run decently on your computer, there also were other big problems, like shitty vehicle controls.
Maxey is right. Keep adding thing and more things to the game will cause it to be boring. Vice City was great in many aspects: the story was good (at least better than GTASA’s), the gameplay was well balanced and the radio was great! Vice city’s radio made me a 80’s music fan -
I liked GTAIV alot, but it was probably mostly for the multiplayer.
What a stupid comment. The story in GTA IV was shit. I can’t remember anything good of it. Rockstar removed the things that were fun and added useless crap like the internet cafes or the boring meet ups with your friends. Bowling wtf?!
Bowling in GTAIV is awesome no matter you saying.
To me GTAIV lacked atmosphere. Perhaps because it felt so normal to me.
Vice city was a blast from the past with neon lights and iconic music, and San Andreas had the whole gangster thing going with huge environments and tons of side missions. Those were awesome.
Now I love Just Cause 2. It has a crap story and even worse acting, but it was so open with the stunts you could do and just messing around with such a simple thing like the tether.
It’s crazy stuff like the jump jet and open landscape from San Andreas that I missed from GTAIV.
Different games I know, and I will just go and play more Just Cause 2 instead, but to get me excited about GTA like I used to, I want some cool toys to play with in game.
I’m hoping that the next GTA delivers.
Oh and I LOVE it in 4 when you steal a car and the victim grabs hold of the handle for a ride 
I guess the main thing 4 had was ragdolls.
