Remake of Half-life 1 for Xbox 360

I would only play console games if those games were limited to the console or would give a better experience than on the pc - the wii has both of these, so thats the only console I play.

Porting old games (or features / whatever) to a console is bullshit in my opinion

NO

wii is a peice of shit compared to xbox or playstion

But neither of them can play Mario Galaxy. Your argument is invalid.

nether Wii, or Playstation can play halo, or gears of war.

nether Xbox, or Wii, can play metal gear solid 4, or uncharted 2

No Sir, YOUR Argument is invalid

Im awesome. Your argument is invalid.

I just find the Wii unique in it’s controls and functions. And uniqueness is the only reason for me to pick up a console game. Don’t want to start a console war here, my original point: no reason to port an old game to a different device if it doesn’t add anything unique.

But none of those consoles can play Pokémon Red/Blue legally!
:retard:

I’d say the Co-Op/Decay/Deathmatch would be the only thing worth it, I love Half-Life and all, but I feel it’s meant to be played on the PC, or with a keyboard and mouse at the very least. I had both versions (i only have the old WIN PC Version now) and I like the PC version much better. I say If all of the whole HL story arc and official stuff came with it, (HL1 or HL: Source, Opposing Force, Blue Shift, Decay, Deathmatch (Or DM Source if it came with HL: S) Then it MIGHT be worth the $15 or so for a sort of Expanded HL1 Anthology for people who don’t have the PC versions.

it looks like thsi thread is going to be another 360 vs PS3 vs Wii vs PC thread
 oh man
 :meh:

i have all 3 systems so i have to say that 360 is my favorite, but what wii beats 360 at is the ability to softmod it, i softmodded my wii and now its everybit as good as my xbox, but otherwise, xbox is the way to go

oh and before this turnes into that

Here is my opinion:

Having a wii is like having an Audi R8 without steering. It can be powerful, but you’re extremely limited. You do what you want, but they way you’re told, which is either going forward or backward. It’s also very pretty. But very controlling.

Having a Xbox 360 is like driving Ford Focus. It’s less pretty than the Audi, but still it looks good. You can do much more things with it since it has a more powerful engine, but if you don’t know how to properly use it you might crash it into a wall and screw everything up. It also gets rusty pretty fast, which means you have to take it to the garage or do a little of maintenance often.

Having a PS3 is like driving a Russian tank. Only pros can really use it to the max, and if you do it’s super-duper powerful. Of course if you don’t know anything to it you might manage to drive around a bit but you’ll get bored after a few miles.

vs mac?

I’ve got HL1 for PS2 also. Works fine, you just need some skill with a dualshock!

Just get Half-Life for your dreamcast. That’ll surely solve everything.

Half-Life on the Dreamcast?

Don’t fucking roll your eyes, man. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdMYWp_EkSs

Yeah, the game was in development and near completion, but never saw the light of day. I believe the expansion blueshift was originally going to be released for the dreamcast included as an expansion.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t play it. Theres a leaked Iso of the game that you can burn to a disk and play in your dreamcast.
I have it, and it’s great other than the fact that the load times are frequent and pretty lengthy. I don’t think they ever had a chance to optimize it fully.

WTF? GMAN?

Not trying to be mean but

Hl1 on dreamcast was leaked after it got cancelled, hl1 for PS2 is better tho.
