Red Faction Guerilla error

Ok, so, yesterday I purchased the THQ pack on Steam. After downloading and running the game, I attempt to start a new game, and it prompts me for the CD key. I enter the CD key steam provided me with… and I get an error and the game crashes…

Any suggestions?

If it helps, I’m running…

  • Windows XP SP3
  • ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650
  • Intel Core2 Duo P8600 @ 2.40GHz 2.39GHz
  • 3GB RAM

no, it doesn’t.
never had that problem under Win7, never played that game under XP.

Are your drivers all the way updated?

Also your cdkey is in the SS, might wanna blur it out or something. Just to be safe :stuck_out_tongue: .
