Real or Hoax? "Starving Yogi" survives without food, water

An 83-year-old Indian holy man who says he has spent seven decades without food or water has astounded a team of military doctors who studied him during a two-week observation period.

Prahlad Jani spent a fortnight in a hospital in the western India state of Gujarat under constant surveillance from a team of 30 medics equipped with cameras and closed circuit television.

During the period, he neither ate nor drank and did not go to the toilet.

“We still do not know how he survives,” neurologist Sudhir Shah told reporters after the end of the experiment. “It is still a mystery what kind of phenomenon this is.”

my uncle can make geese freak out with his mind

I’d have to see it with my own eyes first to believe it.

I assume hoax. Doesn’t seem likely it’s real.

EDIT: Although, I’m not sure it’s a hoax. Might as well be true, however it is possible I don’t know.

My uncle has the ability to be freaked out by the minds of geese.

Am I supposed to believe this? It seems senseless.

My ability has the uncle to be freaked out by the geese of minds.

im sorry

My geese has the minds to be freaked out be the uncle of ability.

Ohh god, what I have I done!?

I do actually hope that this will be true somehow, because then we could instantly solve world hunger. I mean, think about it.

Using what I learned in my elementary school science class, I can concluse that this is a hoax.

You mean what has nutsack done.

the real question;
What Hasn’t Nutsack done?

Made a coherent post.

I have the ability to control TV’s with my mind.

But I have absolutely no control over my ability, I made the advanced service menu appear on a TV with no menu button and no remote in sight, and muted a tv with no mute button and no remote. I also opened a car with my mind once, but when I tried on another car only the alarm came on.

Nothing. :retard:

EDIT: no, wait, that only works if it’s taken for granted that he’s done everything…

EDIT 2: wait, isn’t that true, though?

This is retarded. It’s obviously a hoax.

Go back to school if you want to argue this.

[/debate]

But the question is: WHAT KIND of hoax?

But in all seriousness, even though this is almost definitely a hoax, there has to be a reason for this. Why go to all the trouble of faking all this? Unless it’s just that one website doing it, it would be pretty hard to pull off.

You ever read a tabloid? They make shit up to attract readers. Same thing with this.

Physorg isn’t a tabloid site, though. Look at their other articles. And either way, it’s copy-pasted from an AFPnews release, which is also not a tabloid.

So, time to switch to a different argument I guess. Since the study itself actually happened, I recommend attacking the motives of either the Yogi himself, or the Indian government/military. So, depends how much of a conspiracy you want to invent. Go on, have a go at it.
