Rate the Comp above you

Because nothing says neighborly like cranking the volume controller to Boost 10 and observing as your subwoofer causes the house next to yours to shake.

Yeah, I’m just happy since this was a free upgrade, I could push it all the way to 3.4ghz but I don’t want to because I’m using the stock cooler in summer. :stuck_out_tongue:

Grow some balls and go to 6.0

now running at 3.03ghz so that my ram would run a little faster, I don’t wanna overclock more than that.

keep in mind I have the single cheapest motherboard ever sold by asus, the P5KPL-CM. :stuck_out_tongue:

Pics that need to be updated since adding speakers (but give you the idea):

Hope adding pics isn’t cheating.

UPDATED MY SET UPS

FIRE:
Love the case.
Lose marks for a poor choice of mobo chipset.
Looks good to me the rest of the way down.
7.5/10

ICE:
Overpriced per performance CPU cooler loses a little bit, and the HDD is suspiciously small even for a secondary computer.
All else is damned impressive for a second computer. 7/10

Lol why would you buy an eeebox anyway?

For the lulz…I’ll post my laptop, which while at uni, is my all round machine, including gaming.

TOSHIBA
EQUIUM A300D

AMD Turion X2 RM-70 Dualcore, 2GHZ
250 GB hard disc
3 GB ram
Radeon HD3200 Graphics 256 MB dedicated
Pioneer DVD-R drive
Windows 7 build 7000, soon to be 7100
15.4’ screen, native 1280*800

And the normal laptop stuff, wireless, card reader, media controls, that sorta thing.

It runs things like TF2 on medium, and my race simulations on high, so it’s all good. Anyone wanna know how many 3D marks it got
.

Agreed. I wish the X58 had been out when I was building this system.

I got it cheap or else I wouldn’t have bought it, lol. The HDD’s make up half a TB however, seems to equate your primary drive.

I was hoping the triple 30’s would rate better, but it’s hard to impress these days. :stuck_out_tongue: Nice updates btw. Love the HD 435’s.

I completed the Crysis demo with everything “High” with a decent framerate. Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and Left 4 Dead run like a dream. Go me!

What?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
