9.5/10 More than you would ever need for this time, Although I think E8400-8500 series are better, especially since you can clock them at 4ghz.

mine:

E2160 1.8ghz running at 2.88ghz
OCZ dual channel 2x1gb PC8500 running at 1066mhz
ASUS P5KPL-CM cheap-ass motherboard (m-ATX)
ASUS EN8800GT Overclocked Edition
500GB SATA + 200GB IDE
SATA DVD Burner

CPU cooler is from an E8400 because my friend didn’t use the stock cooler.

Running XP pro sp3, dualbooting 7 RC1

4/10

I know mine isn’t very impressive but it performs perfectly in all of the games I play and I only spend 200$ on it, so I win

Ok, this is getting the record for being the highest rating and will beat every computer in here.

Well, my secondary PC is a Dell XPS 450, it has a 600mhz pentiumIII (slot1) with 256 PC100 SDRAM and the first ever nvidia card(vanta 16), it has a quantum bigfoot 4gb hard drive and a 10/100 ethernet card.

I mainly use it for instant messaging and occasionally for web browsing.

Dude are you serious?

Of course he is, but that’s just cause he’s jealous.

I can get 60 fps in HL2 on my thinkpad with:
Pentium M @ 1.7ghz
1.25 gigs ram
Radeon 7500 32 meg
40 gig HDD

My crappy dell desktop gets 60 fps in portal, highest settings with

Pentium D @2.8ghz
2 gigs ram
radeon 4670 - 512 megs
160 gig HDD

I don’t know shit about how good that is.

Actually pretty decent for casual gaming, you can play crysis on medium with that.

First one, 5.5.

Second, 9.5.

Nvidia 9800 GT - 512 megs
2.5GB RAM
AMD Athlon Duo 2.10Ghz
300GB HDD

7.5

Brother Shrike you should be able to get more 60fps in Portal with all settings maxed out not just on high with a 4670, My old laptop with a 7950gtx would run portal at 100fps maxed out at 1900x1200. Check to make shure your Catalyst Control Center is up to date and running, heres the link for the lastest version: https://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx.

60fps is better because it’s closer to the monitor refresh rate.

Catalyst is up to date. That’s when I’m looking at both portals. No portals I get ~100 fps.

E6750(OCed)3.2Ghz
4GB DDR2 RAM
Radeon HD4850 512mb
280GB + 500GB hard disks
Samsung 22"widescreen
XP sp.2
dualtboot with W7 ultimate build 7000
.

7/10

I want to see someone with an i7, 12 gigs of ram, and 3 GTX295s. Unfortunately I don’t think anyone has that kind of money.
