Rage

Figure I start a rage topic, I’m not particularly interested in the game but been hearing some not so good rumors flying about.

If you got the game please speak out and lend your voice.

When creating a topic, GIVE SOMETHING SPECIFIC TO TALK ABOUT, LIKE GAME MECHANICS, FIRST IMPRESSIONS, ETC ETC.

You started a topic on a game that you have no interest in. wut :brow:

The game is fun enough. As far as I’ve gotten, the pacing feels slow, but the combat is pretty good.

The texture pop in is pretty bad, though. At first I thought it was just my computer trying to push too much (it’s a dual core when the recommended is a quad core) but then I read that everyone is having that problem. How the fuck didn’t they notice it was there?

The lower than desired textures don’t bother me too much. Though I wouldn’t mind them being higher res, I have plenty of space left on my HDD, so if they fix the texture pop in and release higher res textures, I’ll get them.

It plays like a game developed by splash damage.

Hint: Absolutely god awful[/SIZE]

Edit: Wow I’m an idiot. I dint realize this thread was literally about the game Rage. And it still made sense…

Is the storyline, or lack thereof, really as bad as I’ve been hearing?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
