No, but do you seriously want to start a poll? Should ghosts glow and be shaped like light bulbs, or just be transparent humans? I ahve never ever heard a ghost story, seen a ghost in a movie, or seen a ghost in a video game, where the ghost glowed. According to the world of fiction and people spamming fiction and saying it’s real, ghosts are humanish in shape and transparent, not ovals with heads that glow like lightbulbs.
“is shaping up, right about now:”
What is the thing you don’t understand in those six words?
Also:
Glows
Glows.
God, I’m really wanting to punch you in the face right now.
So rather than coming up with a legitimate reply to my argument you just spam something that belongs in the rage thread?
A little, but not nearly enough to light up the room and both are also transparent. It’s shaping up to look like shit. there should be no oval, he should have just taken mossman’s model and applied the texture to it, instead of the stupid oval body. Less work and a better result.
Well, since it’s so easy, I look forward to seeing your work.
WHY DON’T I HAVE A MOUSE
I MUST HAVE THIS.
Ugh, brb downloading to play on my goddamn touchpad.
Stupid wireless mice and how they break after two days.
I’ve had my wireless mouse for two years and it’s never broken.
And it didn’t have a guarantee?
Because I dropped it like an idiot.
Oh
Gladly.

P.S. telling someone that they probably can’t do better is not a legitimate argument. That is like saying Bush’s complete failure during his presidency was okay because “Let’s see you do better.” (something people have actually said to me)
He’s talking about the ghost, genius.
I took it as meaning mapping/modding in general.

While I don’t exactly agree with garthbartin on WHY the Radiator mod isn’t very good, I think there are many reasons not to like it, other than being a close-minded dunce. I think he’s right about the mod, AND about the ghost (and just because something is not a fact, it doesn’t mean it’s completely subjective. The ghost is a head on a glowy oval, which casts a human shadow…). And you guys are being really unfair to him. He made good points, and has proven that he has at least SOME credibility as a modeler/mapper, as opposed to you.
I don’t find that his posts make him look like a moron, but posts like “God, I’m really wanting to punch you in the face right now” and “Well, since it’s so easy, I look forward to seeing your work.” actually are pretty moronic.
They all have a higher post count than you, so they are obviously right.
My new signature, lol.
Good points? You mean that not having to shoot or kill anything makes this mod bad is a good point? If so you’re as much a sickfuck as him.
I don’t think that that’s a good point, but that’s not the only point he made.
I did say that I don’t agree with what seems to be his reason for disliking the mod, which was a lack of action… imo, the mod is boring simply because it doesn’t take advantage of the fact that it’s a video game.
Anyway, he did like R&D, which didn’t have shooting (though it had some killing…)
I liked Dear Esther.
This mod is just a bunch of fluff that is pretending to be so much more.
Just look at the moddb description.
The short story, play, and poem. First loves. California. Psychological repression. New Orleans. The racket that is couples counseling. Being young, being old. Gay marriage. Homeostasis. Government bureaucracy. Acoustic guitar, contemporary piano, and death metal.
No play, no poem, nothing telling you you are in California, no reason to believe you are in New Orleans (other than the one scene where the ground is flooded), nothing about age, no guitar, no piano, and no death metal. There is very little to connect with in this mod. The characters don’t even speak except for in the marriage counseling scene which is just an annoying as fuck looped fake sounding conversation.
It’s just like the retarded artist who drew a picture of cambell’s soup and called it art.
