Quantic Dream's "Kara" Tech Demo

wow your annoying me. go to the original link, instead of clicking on the play button, selected hd or low def settings in the middle of the video when it pops up.

also. i want to play that. period. if that was worked into a time set eg. mass effects time slot. not universe, time slot. i think it would be incredible. that whole concept could go any way.
just give the title to bioware and free them from teh shit shackles of ea and let them have some free will with it, i reckon they’d impress me.

How about we don’t give the title to Bioware and we keep it with the company that created it?

One could argue that they should hand it off because David Cage has no idea how to write a proper ending (see Indigo Prophecy)…

I was saying that when I had looked prior to him posting a link I managed to find one video and it was crap quality. Not that the video he posted was poor quality. Learn to read.

Apparently neither does Bioware (see ME3) :stuck_out_tongue: .

I’ll be the judge of that. You know, when I get around to actually finishing ME3. Persona 3 FES more or less has a firm grip on my gaming time lately…

I still need to play Persona 3…

I own it (regular, not FES) on PS2, and “acquired” it on PSP.

On topic: the animation was pretty good, if not slightly out of sync with the audio.

apologies.

There’s a few differences between versions.

P3 standard is obviously the original version of the game.

P3FES is a re-release on PS2 with additional Personas and a 30+ hour epilogue called “The Answer.” Fans criticized it for derailing characters and a lack of the social link gameplay that defined the original game (“The Journey” segment).

Persona 3 Portable (P3P) is the most radically different of the three versions. The extra Personas from P3FES are present but not “The Answer.” The battle system gets some tweaks from Persona 4, allowing direct teammate control and the ability to guard (which makes combat a whole lot more controllable). The anime cutscenes are sadly reduced to panning across still frames from them and the full 3D school exploration was cut due to space constraints, but going between the locations is faster due to the new perspective and graphics. Tartarus (the main dungeon) is still in full 3D though. The other big change is that you can play as a female protagonist instead of the male default, which completely changes the game’s social links to use different characters, and also switches up the music. For my money, some of the FeMC’s music pieces are actually better than the standard P3 soundtrack, but both are really good regardless.

I originally wanted to get a PSP from my friend and play P3P, but P3FES has been surprisingly fun so far.

But no matter what, definitely try Persona 4 at some point- it’s even better than P3. (P4 is getting a Playstation Vita re-release, which supposedly will add on a bunch of new content, so if you have a Vita get that version).

I’ll keep that in mind when I finally get around to playing P3 :stuck_out_tongue: I guess I’ll try P3P when I get around to it, since it has extra content. (I don’t mind cutscenes being replaced by still images as long as the story is still there)
