Quake III Arena

Anyone still play it?

I was digging through my old discs the other day when I came across this little beauty, so I popped it in, and five minutes later it was five hours later. Man, those were good times.

Anyway, list funny stories, discuss… and just about anything else about Quake III here. :stuck_out_tongue:

I played Quake Live for a little bit. It was fun!

Quake III Arena is available on Steam for Windows 2000/XP/Vista if anyone is interested. You have to buy it on Steam online, though. I played the Quake III Arena Demo on Steam. It was fun and makes me want to buy the full version of the game at the Steam Store. It is fun and addicting. When it comes to multiplayer, Quake III Arena and Quake Live sure delivers good experiences!

Quake 3 is obsolete, play Live.

I was never really into quake 3, I was more of an Unreal Tournament person.

I still play quake 1 and 2 sometimes.

I don’t play Quake 1, 2 or 3, I play Sauerbraten instead.
Or, I play Quake Live.

UT > Q3

UT4LIFE

UT IS LIFE.

This, I guess… Are you guys really trolling the Quake 3 thread?

Nah, I was just joking around. Tbh, I don’t think much of UT3 and I’ve barely touched 2k4 since TF2 came out (or any previous version for even longer), and subsequently L4D. I did try Quake Live a while back though (which is essentially just Q3) and it was a nice blast from the past.

Both are awesome IMO.

Except UT is better.

I only played UT3 and only a little, but I can say yes UT3 is better.

I can’t believe you guys are actually trolling a quake 3 thread with UT fanboyism. Don’t like Q3? Get the fuck out and make a UT thread or something.

Awesome, me too.

this. Oh wai-
